These include 10 logs whittled by Grant MacEwan, 52 books (most signed; complete works of Grant MacEwan), clippings, 35 plaques, miscellaneous objects including 2 suitcases, 2 cowboy hats, straw hat, fireman's helmet, policeman's hat and billy club, headphones, radio and microphone, and sweatshirts and buttons from Grant MacEwan Day. Graphic material includes posters and photographs. Textual records include a letter to Grant MacEwan regarding the naming the institution after him, the program for the official opening in 1972, the transfer of land document for City Centre Campus, and the records of the Grant MacEwan Day Committee.

Also includes photographs from the Mad Hatter's Ball, Brian Webb in costume, and Grant Fuhr during mask making.

The fonds consists of material accompanying the Fitt Jazz Collection of sound recordings and includes documents and notes that supported research for Mike's contribution to The Jazz Discography by Tom Lord. It consists of correspondence, clippings, music catalogues, detailed discographical notes, Duke Ellington conference material, copies of The International DEMS Bulletin: Duke Ellington Music Society (1979-2003), a copy of Duke Ellington: Leader Discography signed by Tom Lord, and 27 photographs.

78 lacquer instantaneous discs are stored in the Archives due to preservation concerns, while the rest of the Fitt Jazz Collection, including textual records and photographs, is located in Allard Hall.

Also included is a photocopy of a handwritten diary belonging to Grant MacEwan with entries dated 1906-1951.
