Records document the creative activity of the Music program through audio recordings, photographs, concert posters, and programs of performances by students, graduates, and faculty. Also includes course files, awards, correspondence of Music program heads Bob Meyers and Tommy Banks (1981-1984), Music Program Advisory Committee agendas, minutes, and correspondence (1997-2008).

Fonds consists of photographs, student handbooks, graduate clippings, program history, promotional posters, and other material related to the Art and Design Department.

The collection consists of institutional artifacts that primarily commemorate events or promote the institution. The materials have been divided into the following series: 1) events, 2) promotional material, 3) flags, 4) plaques. Items include buttons, pins, institutional seals, a signed Griffins jersey presented to Bill Comrie in recognition of his donation to University Athletics, a miniature shovel from SAMU groundbreaking ceremony, flags, a plaque commemorating the official opening of the City Centre Campus from Mayor Jan Reimer as well as 5 plaques from Jasper Place, horse gear from the Equine Program, and convocation mortarboard and tassel. Also included are glass bottles and ceramic CN mug which were dug up when site remediation was done before breaking ground for Allard Hall in 2014.

The fonds consists of policies, committee minutes, reports, statistics, projects, programming, publications, photographs, and posters related to the activities of the Library.

Fonds consists of the contents of a time capsule created by the Students’ Association in 1993 to commemorate the official opening of City Centre Campus with instructions that it be opened during MacEwan’s 50th anniversary. Contents include promotional brochures, student handbooks, program guides, event programs, staff and student memories, newspapers, photographs, t-shirts, and objects. A file list is available.

Also included are materials produced for the 50th anniversary: A commemorative look at 50 years / MacEwan University, 50 years of MacEwan memories / Retirees of MacEwan University, a schedule of events for 50th on Fourth, held April 29 - 30, 2022, a commemorative view master, and pageantry banners.

Collection consists of material collected by Grant MacEwan Community College's second president and is comprised of a statue of Gerry riding a griffin with inscription: "In honour of Dr. Gerald O. Kelly, President: Grant MacEwan Community College, August 31, 1981 to August 31, 1996," 3 plaques, 12 photographs, 1 print, 1 book by Glenn Ruhl signed by the Board of Governors, 1993, and 5 books autographed by Dr. MacEwan and inscribed to Gerry.

The fonds consists of President's Reception invitations and photographs from Spring and Fall 2010-2015, bi-annual address to community members on topics relating to the university including building for a creative future, involvement on the international stage, and community engaged scholarship, photographs of convocation ceremonies, newspaper clippings about J. W. Grant MacEwan, MacEwan Day buttons, photographs and negatives, and textual records from the MacEwan Day Committee, including minutes, agendas, and correspondence.

The fonds contains administrative records created by the university archives and includes appraisal reports, research agreements, file transfer authorization forms, donation agreements, and reference statistics. Collection consists of programs for various retirement and long service awards dinners. Missing: 1993-1995, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2004, 2006, 2009, and 2014.
