Kelly, President: Grant MacEwan Community College, August 31, 1981 to August 31, 1996," 3 plaques, 12 photographs, 1 print, 1 book by Glenn Ruhl signed by the Board of Governors, 1993, and 5 books autographed by Dr. MacEwan and inscribed to Gerry.

Fonds consists of the contents of a time capsule created by the Students’ Association in 1993 to commemorate the official opening of City Centre Campus with instructions that it be opened during MacEwan’s 50th anniversary. Contents include promotional brochures, student handbooks, program guides, event programs, staff and student memories, newspapers, photographs, t-shirts, and objects. A file list is available. Also included are materials produced for the 50th anniversary: A commemorative look at 50 years / MacEwan University, 50 years of MacEwan memories / Retirees of MacEwan University, a schedule of events for 50th on Fourth, held April 29 - 30, 2022, and a commemorative view master.

These include 10 logs whittled by Grant MacEwan, 52 books (most signed; complete works of Grant MacEwan), clippings, 35 plaques, miscellaneous objects including 2 suitcases, 2 cowboy hats, straw hat, fireman's helmet, policeman's hat and billy club, headphones, radio and microphone, and sweatshirts and buttons from Grant MacEwan Day. Graphic material includes posters and photographs. Textual records include a letter to Grant MacEwan regarding the naming the institution after him, the program for the official opening in 1972, the transfer of land document for City Centre Campus, and the records of the Grant MacEwan Day Committee.
